Life Care Planning
A Certified Life Care Plan sets your case up for success!
Our Certified Life Care Plans provide concrete, specific medical and cost-projection data to attorneys who are responsible for determining damages in personal injury cases. Cases handled by both plaintiff and defense attorneys benefit from a Certified Life Care Plan.
Common diagnoses for which a Life Care Plan is obtained include:
- Dementia
- Spinal cord injury
- Severe burns
- Cerebral palsy or birth injury
- Traumatic brain injury
- Chronic pain
- Multiple trauma and amputation
The Life Care Plan begins with a Certified Nursing Evaluation of the client performed by a registered nurse. We also review pertinent medical records and obtain current treatment plans from treating physicians and care providers to establish a clear picture of the client’s current and projected needs.
We then compile this information with well-researched, fact-based costs and provide a detailed report that includes:
- Injury and treatment summary
- Comprehensive Nursing Assessment of current status and medical care
- Projection of future medical needs
- Tables of specific cost information for future care and quality of life needs
In addition to Life Care Plans, we also provide care management services to assist your clients in putting our recommendations into place. Our nurse care managers provide skilled support and guidance in addressing future care needs to help prevent further medical complications.
