Amanda Neilson
CEO
I began my career in Australia, working with families and local communities as a lawyer for Aboriginal clients in Darwin, and later as a high school teacher with Teach for Australia. After discovering my passion for business, I spent the next decade managing projects and teams across Australia, the Middle East, and the United States that supported company growth and community economic development, completing my MBA at Stanford along the way. I’ve always been drawn to work that expands opportunity and helps people live with dignity.
At PeACE, my role is to support our care-management and SPICE teams as they serve clients and families with the highest quality of care. I love the puzzle of how good systems and thoughtful planning make excellent care possible, and I keep a close eye on the details that help our teams do their best work. As a family caregiver myself, I credit my 101-year-old grandmother for showing me how far patience and a good laugh can go!
Outside of work, I spend as much time as I can near the ocean, love discovering small towns and local bakeries on my travels, and find joy in cooking long, slow meals for friends and family. I’m proud to build on PeACE’s long tradition of care and grateful for the extraordinary team that makes it all possible.
